In Scena! whishes to thank the Spanish artist who created the print for the Mario Fratti Award

Born in New York City in 1985, Victoria Febrer is Internationally recognized for her vinographs, images created with red wine using a technique of her own invention. Victoria Febrer has exhibited her work in the United States, Spain, and Belgium, with solo exhibitions in New York, Valencia and Madrid. The artist divides her time between Valencia and New York, where her studio is based.
One of her paintings and several of her vinographs form part of The Hispanic Society of America’s permanent collection in New York. On the occasion of In Scena! 2014 she has created a special edition commemorative vinographic relief print for the Mario Fratti Award. The portrait of the famous Italian author will be donated to the winner of the Mario Fratti Award for Emerging Italian Playwrights during the Award Ceremony, to be held every year during the Festival.

The winner of the first edition of the Mario Fratti Award 2014 was Carlotta Corradi with “Via dei Capocci”. The Roman playright was awarded at the Italian Institute of Culture on June 24th, within the Festival Closing Night.
