This year, the festival is presenting a series of conversations on the topic of Gender.

What defines a gender? How many genders do exist? how much identity there is in a gender? Join the conversation with Pooya (actor and activist), Jake Sellers (director) , Lou Pansulla (Psychiatric) and stay for the shows.

Moderated by Laura Caparrotti

Pooya is an Iranian-American actor, writer, filmmaker & Transgender activist. Her most recent TV role is a recurring guest star on the new crime drama “Big Dogs” produced by Choice Films & Theatricals, directed by Matthew Penn & Tony Glazer, coming in 2019. Other TV  credits include a recurring quest star in the first season of the USA network’s “Falling Water” and CBS’s “Madam Secretary”. Pooya’s also starring in a short film co-written and co-produced by her “Transit: A NYC FAIRYTALE “, coming out in 2020.
