Donatella Codonesu is a journalist, theater critic, photoreporter and event organizer. She worked as event organizer for an international multinational company for a decade before dedicating her career to theater. As journalist, she co-founded one of now most important webzine on theater teatroteatro.it, she was a columnist for one the main Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera and she curated and hosted “Dietro le quinte”, a radio program about theater, in collaboration with Roma3 University. She is an expert in the art of supertitling for live performance and she collaborates with several educational Institutions such as Roma3 and the Scuola Civica Altiero Spinelli in training their students in such art. She is the Artistic Director of KIT Italia, the co-founder Associated Director of In Scena! Italian Theater Festival NY, the Italian theater Festival in NY and the co-founder and Artistic Director of OnStage! Festival bringing US theater to Italy. She actively supports the non for profit project “Voices in the desert – recycling memory”. Donatella is a proud International Affiliate of the LPTW (League of Professional Theatre Women) since September 2018.
