Luisa is a lonely woman in a bathroom, standing alone on a stool in front of a mirror. She retraces her life, and her childhood appears in flashes of memory. The sexual violence inflicted by her own father. The ghost of the past in every man she meets. Only the memory of her mother will bring her some relief.
Bruna Braidotti is a playwright, director and actress, whose work focuses primarily on gender issues and local culture. She is the President of the Company of Arts and Crafts of Pordenone and director of the International Festival The Scene of Women. Theatre awards: “Italy” Women and theater, Rome 2007; “La Commedia delle donne” award M. Melato, Rome 2013; “The tale of the mill”, The writing of the differences, Capri 2008; “Luisa”, Selection WPI, Cape Town 2015). She is the coordinator for Italy at the La Escritura de la/s defrencia/s Festival in Cuba. She has produced several shows on historical and environmental themes in the North East of Italy.
