Since 2013 on the island of Stromboli takes place the Eco Logical Theater Fest: a week of theater, music, dance, and other events … without using electricity, where audience and spectators are bathed by the same light, the sun or ” the other stars “: torches, candles, natural gas lamps … Actors, singers, writers, journalists, dancers, musicians present themselves to the public without filters of lighting or electric amplification. And what energies are freed once we give up electricity?
The documentary is the story of an unusual staging of the last play written by W.Shakespeare: The Tempest. The film takes place during the 2016 Eco-Logical Theater Festival.
