Rosario Sparno (playwright, director, actor)

Rosario Sparno is a director and actor who lives and works in Naples. He has adapted and directed classic works by Shakespeare, Moliére, Lorca, De Filippo for Teatro Mercadante and Le Nuvole company. Rosario works with Casa del Contemporaneo productions. He performed in the feature “Il resto di niente” with Maria de Medeiros. With his company Bottega Bombardini, he stages the works of contemporary playwrights such as: D.F. Wallace, Camilleri, Rushbrooke and Bezerra. He is also the author of children’s books and CDs.



Antonella Romano (actress)

Antonella Romano lives and works in Naples. She trained at the Accademia d’Arte Drammatica del Teatro Bellini, in Naples. She started working on classical theatre and later on contemporary works. Among her most significant experiences are her collaborations with Arturo Cirillo and La Fura del Baus company form Catalunya. She won the Premio Girulà for the show “L’Ereditiera” by Ruccello. In addition to her work as an actress, she is a visual artist, an “iron embroider”: “embroidering, weaving, brings me back to ancient times, where iron is my thread, my hands are a weaving machine.”
